Welcome to the home page of Academic Female Voice Choir Lyran!

We are the only female voice choir at Helsinki University, bringing together 50 young women. During 2011, we've been celebrating our 65th anniversary. Our conductor since fall 2009 is M.Mus. Jutta Seppinen, who is now taking these Swedish speaking Finns deeper in the modern music.

Music knows no language barriers and therefore we are happy to share with you a small part of our choir. Under this page you find information about the choir and details on our upcoming performances. Due to newly renewed web pages, the information may still be lacking partly. We apologize for this.
