Performances

Lyran gives both own concerts as well as participates in different events. The traditional Christmas concerts, Spring matinee and Summer concert are given together with Lyran's brother choir Akademiska Sångföreningen.

"Blitze und Donner"
St Matthew Passion, Sat 24.3.2012
Lyran and Akademen will be performing the three hour-long St Matthew Passion by J.S. Bach in March of 2012 in St John's church in Helsinki. Tickets à 30/22€ can be bought on site, by chorists as well as from Luckan.

Performance during crowning of Finland's Lucia in the Helsinki Cathedral, Tue 13.12.2011
Finland's Lucia is crowned traditionally in the Helsinki Cathedral. Lyran participates in the crowning with some music. The crowning begins at 5 pm and at 6 pm Lucia walks down the Cathedral steps with her party. This event is a tradition in Helsinki and is viewed by hundreds each year.

CHRISTMAS CONCERTS with Akademiska Sångföreningen, Fri 16.12.2011
The traditional Christmas concerts with Akademiska Sångföreningen are held December 16th at 6 pm and 8.30 pm in St. John's church in Helsinki. Tickets can be bought from chorists, from Lippupiste (lippu.fi) and on sight.

Concert tickets can be bought on sight appr. 1 hour before concert.
